Teaching Overview

My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive environment that fosters both academic growth and mutual respect. I have been teaching several courses at the University of Ottawa since 2022. I view the classroom as a space where students are allowed to make mistakes. Therefore, I encourage them to ask questions, fostering an environment that promotes learning through inquiry. I believe that critical thinking is an essential skill that will greatly benefit students in their academic and professional pursuits.

My favorite way of teaching is to integrate theoretical concepts with practical examples, as I believe this approach helps students connect abstract knowledge to real-world applications. This mindset not only enhances their understanding but also prepares them for successful careers, where they can apply what they've learned in real-life situations. Ultimately, education serves as a bridge to professional life, where students transition from academic theory to practical industry experience.
